Generally, MPPT depends on the solar irradiance (G) and Temperature (T). Many algorithms are developed for the MPPT to extract the maximum power and improve the efficiency of PV system it can be classified into groups, conventional methods, soft computing methods and evolutionary method. In this study, we proposed a new algorithm for MPPT of a photovoltaic system is Type_2 Fuzzy Logic Control system (T2FLC) to improve the MPPT performance. The T2FLC which can handle with rule uncertainties the application of this T2FLC, involves operations of fuzzification, inference and output processing. A T2FLC simulated using the MATLAB/Simulink package. The results show that the T2FLC algorithm based MPPT fulfil faster and best performance compared with the T1FLC algorithm and the conventional P&O algorithm.} }
