Such division increases the rate of data sent from the transmitter to the receiver which is appropriate for the modern digital communication used in the latest wireless generation. Therefore, the aim of the study reported in this study is to evaluate the performance of the OFDM systems for three QAM schemes (16, 32 and 64). To achieve this, the study used a novel clipping and filtering technique to reduce the high Peak to Average Power Ratio (PAPR) issue in the OFDM systems. The findings showed that systems suffering from a drawback represented by the high PAPR, thus resulting into distorting the output signal and degrading the transmission quality. ER -
