From this analysis, it was found that in the residential sector, 40% of the population does not understand the difference between an organic residue and a hazardous waste (RESPEL) and 84% of the population believes that in the city, not proper management of hazardous household waste (RPD) is performed, demonstrating the importance of strengthening the mechanisms of action on the management of this waste in Barranquilla.
