To optimize the power loss and to increase the voltage stability, we proposed the hybrid model with the combination of artificial neural network along with genetic algorithm. The optimal position is selected for the placement of FACTS devices using the hybrid algorithm. The proposed model is tested using the MATLAB with IEEE 30 bus system. The performances of the proposed techniques are analyzed by increasing the load in the system. The results proved the efficiency of the proposed model in terms of power loss reduction and voltage stability. ER -
