Turbidity is one of the characteristics of water that allows its quality to be determined, it facilitates decision-making about the treatment to be received or whether, it is suitable for human consumption. The importance of this parameter has led to the development and improvement of techniques and instruments to measure the level of turbidity of water. The objective of this research is to use artificial vision techniques evaluate. The mathematical model implemented presents errors of 5% with respect to the value taken by the standard equipment to determine the level of turbidity of different water samples. The implanted artificial vision system consists of different phases in which digital image processing and analysis techniques are combined. ER -
