Science has generated the kind of elite, whose activity is responsible for the strategic development of the humankind, providing it with reliable system of strategic security. Elite scientific communities have always been at the forefront of social progress, conditioning both a vector and dynamics of its development. Elite has been selected through the activities of the University as well. The study describes a problem of the influence of elite university education on the selection process of political elites. It also provides forecast of competitive development of meritocratic and oligarchic principles of forming the world system of elite education. ER -
