Organizations that have experienced and adapted to environmental change have been able to survive due to the strong pressure of change in the competitive environment. The source of these pressures is reflected in the majority of technological development which led to the globalization of markets and the abolition and decline of the role of the public sector. All of this and the other was the motivation of contemporary organizations to adopt the entrance to the strategic renewal in order to achieve a state of balance between what it has learned from the environment and its ability to find new solutions to cope with and respond to the situation of change. The problem of research was to know the nature of the relationship between the conditions of environmental scarcity and strategic renewal activities. The researchers chose samples that are consistent with the problem of study (The Newspaper Industry, the Postal Services Industry, the General Company for Electrical and Electronic Industries, the General Company of Iraqi Airways) and all the hypothesis of the study have been achieved and the research has reached a number of conclusions and recommendations.
