This challenging context, make us continues in this research axes where we aimed at developing better building materials having better thermal and mechanical properties of bricks using plastic materials. In this sense, we study the thermal and mechanical behavior of bricks based on local materials and ecology (Case: Ouargla) such as clay and sand dunes, this composition is where each composition is subjected to a set of thermal (conductivity) and mechanical (compression strength, tensile strength). The results show an overall negative effect in the sense of physico mechanical. ER -
