In addition to professional and physical preparedness, rescuers must maintain high ethical principles. In limit life situations, rescuers must adhere to not only legal regulations but also ethical standards of behaviour that are “above” the regulations and they can sometimes be in conflict with legal provisions. It is always a matter of searching for what is right and good during a particular incident. This attitude is especially aimed at finding and defining the basic values by which we can live, under the assumption that they will lead to justice and happiness. ER -
