In general that gender roles in mulberry cultivation and silkworm maintenance of businessman household is dominan performed by the wife. The results of this study reinforce the Parsons that value system is always working and functions to create a balance in society such men as hunters and women as gatherers. It also occurs in households rural in the study areas where the household wives as gatherers who performs the role of reproduction and a more limited were around the house but interrupted his busy in the role of domestic/reproduction and to remain at home, wives do the role as a hunter or seeker breadwinner in the family but do not leave home and family with making a living as maintainers silkworm (sericulture).
