    Abstract: The content of some extremely hazardous radionuclides and weapon plutonium in soils of the
Sarapan and Zhanan winterings which are located on border of the former semipalatinsk test site was
investigated. Results of research showed that content of <sup>241</sup>Am does not exceed the threshold limit values
whereas content of <sup>137</sup>Cs and <sup>239+240</sup>Pu exceeds the regulated values in some points of sampling.
