A number of systems including and the immune status of the woman in childbirth is exposed to considerable changes in the postnatal period. The immune system is one of integrative systems of an organism which together with nervous and endocrine systems provides maintenance of a homeostasis in the conditions of continuous change of nature of influences of factors of the external and internal environment.
