These systems allow using more factors for making decision. Since, the classical binary logic and threshold comparison do not give an ideal results in making decision, fuzzy logic is one approaches for solving this problem. This study presents a multimodal biometric system that uses three different fingerprints with fuzzy fusion system for making decision. The EER of fuzzy fusion based multimodal system is calculated and compared with other two fusion methods (majority voting and a response of three out three). Experimental results explain an improvement of about 10 and 12% using the fuzzy logic decision fusion over the fusion by majority voting and with a response of three out three, respectively.
