This study presents a robust sensorless Direct Torque Control (DTC) method for Induction Motor (IM) for estimation of stator flux components and rotor speed based on The Extended Kalman Filter (EKF). The model of IM and its EKF models in Matlab/Sirnulink simulation environment are developed. The proposed EKF speed and flux estimation method is also proved insensitive to the IM parameter variations. Simulation results demonstrate a good performance and robustness.
