Abstract

The origin and the development of innovations in the sphere of education, their influence on development of innovative mechanisms in the educational process and also the current innovative approaches to teaching are regarded. The main attention is paid to the approaches to the theory of modeling the educational process and to the kinds of models of educational institutions.
