Abstract

Almost all radars giving impulses with fixed duration are radiated by an impulsion emitter under the command of a clock to track a mobile target known echo impulsions. These received echo impulsions are measured by quantum detectors in terms of photon forces in order to supply signal data processed in a period of time between 2 consecutive clock impulses. However, in spite of the recent progress in quantum technology, many questions concerning the practical limits in quantum communications remain unanswered. Our contribution in this survey is on the one hand to improve the detectors fiability in order to ensure their compatibility in optical fibres telecommunications. On the other hand, introducing an error correction method in order for quantum detection last generation radar systems to be used at large scale.
