Abstract

The research presents the results of finite element simulation on the effect of Severe Plastic Strain (SPS) in torsion under Quasi-Hydrostatic Pressure (QHP) to the strains and stresses diagrams for low carbon steels. Mathematical simulation of stress-strain state was conducted with use of the finite element method. The effect to plastic torsional strain pattern was analyzed.
