The Effect of Change Strategies in Human Resources Development: Evidence from Iraq

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of change strategies in human resources development, through providing a theoretical research on the contributions of researchers in the search variables as well as the practical framework of analyzing impact relations between the independent variable of change strategies (education and communication strategy, engagement strategy, facilitation and support strategy, negotiation and agreement strategy, evasion and camouflage strategy). And human resources development as a dependent variable of Iraqi industrial general company for electrical and electronic industries. Prompting the researcher to build a prescriptive model for research included a series of hypothesis and sample consisted of (61) employees were chosen randomly from the factories and laboratories of the research sample company. The questionnaire has been used as a tool for data collection and statistical program, (SPSS) has been adopted to analyze this data. The research has reached a set of conclusions and recommendations: there is a significant and positive impact of change strategies in human resource development under significant standards. The most important recommendations of the research were: the management should pay attention to the employees psychological aspect to a chive better performance and to enable the Iraqi organization to compete with local and Foreign companies.
