Abstract
Random numbers have many applications, including in the case of cryptography and randomization of a test item. In fact, random numbers that are true random are very difficult to generate, especially by using computers. Therefore, the solution is by generating a pseudo-random numbers generator. This study discusses the pseudo-random numbers generation techniques and the test on the uniformity and independence of the sequence. The purpose of this study is to observe the development of pseudo-random numbers generator from the simplest and well-known form to the complex one.
