Blockchain is one of the most important emerging technologies that have brought great changes in various fields due to its great impact on many commercial and industrial activities. After the blockchains great success in the digital currency field, it has been used in other areas such as the Internet of Things, supply chain and healthcare. Emerging solutions adopting blockchain in the field of health records, provide directions for addressing some of its challenges. We aim to analyze current blockchain-based health records solutions by a reference study and a systematic comparison of the trends adopted by them, based on the “Four-Views Framework”. We also aim to lay a systematic basis for our new approach that seeks building a comprehensive framework for health records. As a result, we proposed an architecture for a new framework that combines health data integration, management, exchange and access control management, taking into account privacy and security.
