The study of pathogens associated with the rot of citrus fruits in some parts of South Eastern Nigeria presented four pathogens identified as Phytophthora citrophthora (Butler), Fusarium oxysporum schlecht, Fusarium equiseti (Corda) Sacc and Botryodiplodia theobromae (pat). The study showed that the rot caused by B. theobromae was more severe, followed by P. citrophthora rot, F. oxysporum rot and F. equiseti rot. Some disease control measures were recommended.
