This study examined the influence of a non-physical work environment on employee performance by using emotional intelligence as an intervening variable at the Balai Besar Pelatihan Peternakan Kupang. The sample in this study is a non-probability sampling technique that a saturated sampling of 87 employees of Balai Besar Pelatihan Peternakan Kupang. The analytical tool used is path analysis. The results showed that non-physical work environment variables had a positive influence on emotional intelligence and employee performance. And emotional intelligence variables can mediate between non-physical work environments on employee performance.
